Our Client Services and Operations function is where strategy meets delivery. It’s a fast-paced, collaborative environment where talented teams come together to drive operational excellence, elevate client experience, and enable our advisers to do what they do best.

As a Regional Head, you won’t just lead, you’ll shape, influence and energise. You’ll play a critical role in leading high-performing teams, unlocking efficiencies, and ensuring consistently outstanding outcomes for clients and advisers across the Wales & West region.

Your impact on stakeholders

  • You will inspire, lead and develop a high-performing team of Paraplanners and Administrators
  • You will partner with Regional IFA leadership to deliver exceptional client outcomes
  • You’ll support resolution of complex operational queries
  • You’ll enjoy driving continuous improvement and efficiency across the region
  • You will ensure a strong compliance culture aligned to FCA standards

What you’ll bring to the position

  • You’re comfortable influencing and partnering with senior stakeholders to shape direction and drive change
  • You have a track record of making things better - improving performance, efficiency and outcomes
  • You enjoy working with data and insight, using it to identify opportunities and inform decisions
  • You’re passionate about delivering exceptional client outcomes and continuously raising the bar

Technical Skills

  • You have a strong grounding in financial planning processes and client servicing models within a regulated environment
  • You have significant experience leveraging MI and data to drive performance, insight and strategic decision-making
  • You’re experienced working with operational systems and platforms
  • You have an excellent understanding of regulatory frameworks and their application within operations
  • Your highly skilled at AI, process simplification and driving continuous improvement to improve efficiency and service

Soft Skills

  • You are a highly effective communicator with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders and teams
  • You have strong leadership presence, with a track record of coaching and developing high-performing teams
  • You have a strategic mindset, capable of shaping direction and translating strategy into execution
  • You are a resilient leader with experience navigating and driving organisational change
  • Your leadership style is collaborative, fostering collective success across the business

Experience

  • You are already leading a high-performing, geographically dispersed team within client services or operations
  • You have played a key role in transformation or change initiatives that drive real business impact
  • You are comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making at a strategic level
  • You have experience within financial services, ideally supporting advisers and client delivery in an IFA or wealth environment

Qualifications and Certifications

  • CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (DipPFS)
  • Chartered status desirable
  • Leadership training
  • Continuous development mindset
