What does IT look like at Ascot Lloyd?

Our IT function is a fast moving, collaborative environment focused on delivering secure, scalable, and high performing technology solutions. As a Senior Azure Integration Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building and operating secure, scalable integrations and AI enabled services that underpin digital products, automation and the firm’s AI strategy.

Your impact on stakeholders

  • Design and deliver secure, scalable Azure integrations that support digital products and automation.
  • Enable delivery teams, Power Platform solutions and AI workflows through robust, reusable integration services.
  • Expose data, integration, and AI capabilities through well-governed APIs.
  • Ensure integration and AI services meet regulatory, security and resilience requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with business users, delivery teams, and technology colleagues.

What you’ll bring to the position

  • Strong experience designing and building Azure based integration solutions.
  • Hands on C# and .NET engineering capability.
  • Experience with API led and event driven architectures.
  • A security first mindset within regulated environments.
  • A collaborative, delivery-focused approach.

Technical Skills

  • C# and ASP.NET core development within Azure.
  • Azure Integration Services including Service Bus, Functions, Logic Apps and API Management.
  • Design and management of RESTful APIs.
  • Azure AI Foundry experience building and integrating AI models and services.
  • Monitoring and support using Azure Monitor and Application Insights.

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Clear written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfortable taking ownership of critical services.
  • Adaptable within a fast-moving environment.

Experience

  • Building and operating production grade Azure integrations.
  • Working within Agile delivery environments.
  • Supporting integrations across their full lifecycle.
  • Operating within regulated or financial services environments.
  • Collaborating across multi-disciplinary technology teams.

Qualifications and Certifications

  • Microsoft Azure certifications are desirable.
  • Experience with integration and API governance frameworks.
  • Exposure to AI or machine learning platforms.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
